About Me
Hi, I’m Andrea Silver Champaloux, founder of Silver Wish Travels. My love of travel has always been tied to history, culture, and the stories that make each place unique. Before becoming a travel advisor, I studied international affairs and spent years working in museums, where my focus was helping people connect more deeply with the past. That same curiosity shapes the trips I plan today.
I’ve spent time exploring much of Europe, and those experiences continue to inform how I design journeys for my clients. I’m especially passionate about European river cruising, which offers a remarkable way to travel through the heart of historic cities and landscapes while unpacking only once.
I work closely with each client to design trips that match their interests, pace, and priorities. I also have experience assisting travelers with mobility considerations, accessibility needs, and food allergies, helping ensure every detail is thoughtfully planned.
And while Europe is my main focus, I also enjoy planning Disney vacations for travelers who want to add a little extra sparkle to their lives.
Some fast facts about me:
I have my Masters in Museum Education and have worked in some of the premier museums across the country.
My husband and I are on a quest to visit every state capitol building in the United States and we’ve already been to 33. Yes, we’ve even made it to Hawai’i and Alaska!
I’ve lived in, traveled to, and studied in 15 different countries, and I’m always looking to add to the list! Where should I go next?
I read around 100 books every year and love to pair them with my different adventures.
